Mamivac Nipple shields are imported from Germany and can help with latching difficulties related to tongue tie, flat nipples, engorgement, prematurity, as well as transitioning from bottle nipples to breast. Mamivacs in 2 different shapes and 2 sizes can be more effective than the traditional shields.
Cherry Shape (22mm)– Particularly helpful for baby with sucking difficulties, tongue tie, etc. because it is round and has indentations where baby appears to be able to “catch” onto nipple shield rather than continuing to slide down shaft with typical conicals.
Large Conical (28mm) The largest size Conical nipple shield available. Particularly helpful for moms who find the traditional sizes tight and pinchy. Also encourages wide latch onto breast.
Please note: Imported Mamivac nipple shields are purchased in bulk and are sometimes repackaged in zip lock bags for shipping to you, or, when available, in small boxes. Minimum order 2 shields (1 pair) No returns are accepted for Mamivac Nipple shields.
